Welcome to this DSLR cinematography workshop specially curated by Sixteen By Nine Media Centre. Film-makers are taught how various lighting, camera and lens techniques can help them advance their ideas and achieve their artistic intentions. Making them technically sound in cinematography and improve their video production abilities with this complete workshop. This workshop is a comprehensive introduction to shooting and lighting for films and videos. Taught by industry professionals. This intensive workshop introduces aspects of DSLR cameras, lens, exposure, lighting, composition, colour theory, shot sizes, framing, camera movement and much more. Also build your showreel while doing the workshop. This workshop concludes with a project shoot.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS COURSE
You will learn about exposure compensation with iso, shutter speed, and aperture.
You will learn about lens and framing.
You will learn about camera basics with an in-depth DSLR camera overview; know about frame rate, video resolution, choosing a lens.
You will learn professional lighting techniques to shoot both your indoor and outdoor scenes; know about colour temperature and white balance.
You will get demonstrations on 3 point lighting, day and night lighting.
You will learn to compose better-looking videos by knowing about types of shots, focus pulling, and visual design.
You will learn about colour correction and colour grading for cinematographers.
You will learn to add movement to your shots with slider, rig, and gimbal.
You will shoot a project and will be reviewed on it.
