Video, the fastest-growing communication in online marketing medium. Customers are 85% more likely to buy after watching a video of a product or service. The way we use a video in our business, it can exponentially increase our visibility and set business to autopilot.

Each year brings new styles of videos, as businesses find new, inventive ways to use the medium to reach customers. Just as tweets and Facebook posts are timed to run consistently, the video marketing plan should also have steps. Videos stand out as compared to any other media, giving customers a quick overview of a product without overwhelming them with text. In a few seconds, a customer can get the information he needs about a business through a tight, short, visually-appealing audio-visual content. We must think about our campaign in terms of a series of videos, instead of posting one video about a new product.

Marketing strategy is a long-term, forward-looking approach to planning with the fundamental goal of achieving sustainable competitive advantage. In a successful video marketing campaign, the content, distribution strategy, and consumer self-expression tools combine to allow an individual to “add their voice” or co-create value to a piece of content – then further propagating it out to their social circles.

Video marketing is an extension of Article marketing but serves as an alternate medium for businesses to convey their message to a wider audience, and get more exposure. Social video marketing differs from social marketing, which has the intent of influencing behavior for social good.
